We offer a variety of services for healthy pets, including wellness examinations, vaccinations and vaccination titers, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, diet consults, and routine bloodwork.

Our goal is to empower you to care for your geriatric pet, and be there for you when the most difficult time eventually comes. We offer recommendations to increase your pet's quality of life, tools for monitoring quality of life, and both in-clinic and at-home euthanasia services.

We utilize a number of diagnostic techniques to determine what is wrong with your pet, starting with a thorough physical examination. We offer bloodwork, x-rays, abdominal ultrasound, cytology/biopsies, and more.

In addition to our digital x-ray machine, we also utilize ultrasound to assess internal organs.

Dental care is vital to the overall health of any animal. 80 percent of dogs and 70 percent of cats over three years of age suffer from some form of dental disease, making it the most common pet health issue among our pet population. MBVC performs dental cleanings, as well as extractions and other oral surgeries.

We perform routine surgical procedures, such as spays, neuters, and mass removals. Dr. Martin also has additional training for more advanced surgical techniques.

Dr. Byrd is a Certified Veterinary Food Therapist (CVFT), and uses Traditional Chinese Medicine principles to create diets that balance the body, therefore promoting healing. She can also create diets for healthy pets to help prevent future disease.

When your pet’s life force energy Qi (pronounced chee) is blocked, pain and other symptoms may occur. Acupuncture  relieves pain, and balances the body. A balanced body will naturally heal itself. 

Ozone therapy uses medical-grade ozone created using an ozone generator device. The intent of ozone therapy is to increase the amount of oxygen in the tissue, therefore boosting the immune system while promoting healing.

We are able to utilize the body's innate healing mechanisms, through Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Stem Cell Therapy, to repair arthritic joints and diseased tissue.

Photobiomodulation, or laser therapy, can be used to relieve pain, speed healing, and decrease inflammation. 

Dr. Byrd offers other holistic services, such as manual therapy, Reiki, essential oil therapy, Chinese herbal therapy, and nutraceutical/supplement recommendations. 

Dr. Martin provides care for exotic pets, including chickens, ducks, and other birds, pocket pets, and reptiles.
